Describe a system in plain language and watch it get drawn. ArkDraw is a free, open-source (MIT) diagram editor with a built-in AI assistant: on an empty canvas it creates the diagram, on an existing one it edits only what you ask (your selection is "this"), and every change is one Ctrl+Z away.

What's in it:

• 14,000+ official AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle and Kubernetes icons, with VPC/VNet/subnet grouping
• Connectors routed around shapes, plus flow animations you can export as GIF
• Opens and saves .drawio and .vsdx; imports Mermaid, Graphviz, CSV and SQL; diagrams are git-friendly JSON
• Bring your own model: Claude, GPT, Gemini, Bedrock, Vertex, OpenRouter, or Ollama for fully offline use
• Local-first: no account, no server, files stay on your disk
