Cedric AI for Meetings: The first AI agent to present your slides and attend for you
Cedric for Meetings went live on Product Hunt on November 2, 2026. Product Hunt's daily leaderboard for that date ranks it fourth, and its awards page lists it as Launch of the Day. The product positions an AI agent as a participant in Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. Benjamin Ben Hattar, who posts updates for the Cedric team, announced the launch on LinkedIn as a teammate that joins calls.
Once it joins, the agent can share its screen and walk through a deck slide by slide, according to the company's meeting assistant page. It can also answer questions using connected tools and the web. Users invite it in one of three roles: Listener, Moderator (still in beta) or Stand-in, the last for when the user cannot attend. The Product Hunt listing says a latecomer can ask the agent for a catch-up, and that it answers questions with live data from the user's tools. The two sources differ on integration count: Product Hunt cites more than 3,000 tools, while the company site says more than 3,200.
After the call, the agent turns decisions into proposed tasks, follow-up emails, CRM updates and documents. Nothing is sent until the user approves it. Product Hunt's description presents that approval step as the point where the follow-up work gets done.
Why it matters
For founders, the launch marks a shift in meeting software from recording calls toward acting inside them. Note-taking tools already crowd the market, so an agent that presents material and answers questions live raises the bar for what a meeting product must do. Buyers will also ask whether an agent can speak for a person accurately and who answers for what it says. Vendors in this category will need clear rules on disclosure, permissions and the commitments an agent is allowed to make.
For investors, the approval gate is the central detail. A design that drafts follow-ups and CRM changes but waits for sign-off lowers the chance that an error reaches a customer. The useful metric is how often users approve work as drafted compared with editing or rejecting it. Investors should also test whether a large connector count is a durable advantage or a list that rivals can match. A launch-day ranking shows early attention, not retention or revenue.
