Trajectory raises $45M Series A led by Sequoia Capital at $300M valuation
Trajectory, founded by former DeepMind and Apple researchers, closed a $45M Series A led by Sequoia Capital, with Nvidia, Bessemer Venture Partners and Bain Capital Ventures also taking part. The round values the year-old company at $300M. The product lets domain specialists feed production examples and feedback into a model so its behavior improves, a step that sits between a general base model and a business-specific one.
The company opened a self-serve version of the platform on the same day as the round. Post-training tooling is drawing capital as enterprises look to adapt base models with their own data instead of building models from scratch.
For founders, the round shows investors will back narrow tooling for model customization at a $300M valuation soon after founding. Teams building vertical AI products should expect buyers to ask how they capture expert feedback and convert it into measurable model gains.
