Vimeo is a SaaS video platform covering hosting, editing, AI-assisted captioning, live streaming, analytics and monetization (OTT). Its customers are enterprises, small businesses, independent filmmakers and streamers, and it earns most of its revenue from subscription plans. It had about $417M revenue in 2024 and about 1,100 employees at the end of 2024. It spun off from IAC in 2021 and listed on Nasdaq. Bending Spoons acquired it for about $1.38B in an all-cash deal that closed on Nov 24, 2025, and it laid off most of its staff in January 2026.
