Unisound, founded in 2012 by Huang Wei, builds speech and language AI on its UniBrain platform, the Shanhai medical and general large models, and Atlas AI infrastructure. Its two segments are Smart Life (AI solutions, rail transit, IoT, in-vehicle) and Smart Healthcare (medical-record generation, medical insurance review), sold to enterprises and hospitals, over 70% of them tertiary hospitals. It listed on the HKEX (9678.HK) on June 30, 2025, raising about HK$320M. In 2025 revenue was RMB1.211B (+29%), and large-model revenue reached RMB610M, over 10x the 2024 figure.
