Ultimate-Software
Ultimate Software, founded in 1990 in Weston, Florida, built the UltiPro cloud HCM suite. It added Xander, an AI layer, for HR, payroll and talent management. Hellman & Friedman bought it for $11 billion in 2019. It merged with Kronos on April 1, 2020 to form UKG, which is privately owned and sells subscription SaaS. Ultimate's revenue was about $940 million in 2017. UKG's Revelio Labs headcount was about 16,000 in March 2026, and GlobalData reports 2024 revenue of about $2.3 billion.
