The Stepping Stones Group is not an AI company. It is a Boston-based provider of therapy and behavioral health services for children, including special-needs and autism services. It delivers these through school-based, at-home and center-based care. Its customers are school districts and families, and it reports serving 1,000+ clients and about 300,000 children a year across up to 45 states, with 8,000+ clinicians and special educators. It is privately held and has grown partly by acquiring other practices (for example Catalyst Speech and the Gallagher Pediatric Therapy behavioral health business in 2025). It made the Inc. 5000 list for a tenth straight year in 2025.
