Teya is a London-based fintech, formerly SaltPay, founded in 2019. It sells card machines (Teya Pro and Lite), tap-to-pay, e-commerce payments, a business account and merchant cash advances to small and local merchants. It earns money from transaction fees, subscriptions and value-added financial services, and its 2026 release added a 'Teya AI' feature. Sources report $845M–$1.1B raised, with the last round in 2021 (Series C, led by investors including Tiger Global and Accel). Tracxn counts about 1,208 employees (Sep 2026).
