Terra Industries
Terra Industries (formerly Terrahaptix) designs and manufactures autonomous defense systems: long- and mid-range drones, interceptor drones, sentry towers and unmanned ground vehicles. These are linked through its ArtemisOS software platform for threat detection and mission planning. Customers are governments and operators of power plants, mines and other critical assets across Africa and the Global South. Founded in 2024 by Nathan Nwachuku and Maxwell Maduka, it closed a $52M seed round in August 2026, backed by 8VC, Lux Capital, Silent Ventures and Nova Global. It runs a drone factory in Abuja, is opening a London office, and says it is on track for about $100M in contracts by the end of 2026.
