Tarana Wireless
Tarana, founded in 2009, makes its Gigabit 1 platform, a next-generation fixed wireless access (ngFWA) system of base nodes, remote nodes and cloud management software. It sells to wireless and fixed ISPs and operators in mainstream and underserved markets. The company reports more than 300 operators in 24 countries and 47 U.S. states (2026). It is a private, venture-backed company with over $400M invested and has been valued at about $1B since its 2022 round. It has R&D in Pune, India, and a March 2026 partnership with GS Microelectronics U.S. on RF transceivers.
