Syntax
Syntax is a privately held IT services firm founded in 1972. It provides consulting, application managed services, cloud hosting, security and generative/agentic AI offerings centered on SAP and Oracle ERP. Customers are large enterprises in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, automotive and mining. It earns revenue from project-based consulting and recurring managed-services contracts. In April 2026 it launched AI-First Application Managed Services. Third-party estimates put 2026 revenue at roughly $419M and headcount at about 2,000–2,600. It is private-equity-backed, and one data provider lists $545M of debt financing in 2021.
