SpeedTax
SpeedTax is a cloud-based service that automates sales and use tax compliance. It covers real-time tax calculation, return preparation and filing, remittance, and reporting for treasury and audit defense. It integrates with ERP, accounting, e-commerce and point-of-sale systems through plug-ins and an SDK/API. It was certified as an SST Certified Service Provider and Certified Automated System in 2008. CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, acquired it in 2011 for an undisclosed sum. It is not a primarily AI company, and public sources list about 11–50 employees.
