Recorded Future's Intelligence Cloud is a subscription platform. It uses machine learning and NLP to analyze open web, dark web and technical sources. It supplies threat, vulnerability, brand, identity and payment-fraud intelligence to government, financial services, telecom, technology and healthcare customers. The company serves more than 1,600 businesses and government organizations in over 70 countries. It was founded in 2009 and raised about $58M before Mastercard acquired it for about $2.65B in September 2024. Mastercard completed the deal in December 2024, and Recorded Future continues to operate as a separate entity.
