RealPage sells cloud software and data analytics for leasing, property operations, accounting, resident services, and rent-pricing recommendations. Its Lumina AI Workforce platform coordinates AI agents across these functions. Customers are multifamily, commercial, single-family, and community-association property owners and managers, and the company earns revenue from software subscriptions and services. Thoma Bravo took it private in 2021 in an all-cash deal valued at about $10.2B including net debt. In November 2025 it settled a DOJ antitrust suit over its rent-pricing algorithms, with no fine and no admission of wrongdoing. The settlement imposes data restrictions and a court-appointed monitor, and as of October 2026 state-level antitrust claims against it are continuing.
