Slack
Slack is a channel-based work messaging platform with the Slackbot AI agent, Slack Connect, workflow automation and a large app marketplace. It sells per-user subscriptions (Pro, Business+, Enterprise+) to teams and large enterprises, and its website claims 77 of the Fortune 100 and 200,000+ paying organizations. Salesforce bought it for about $27.7B in 2021, and Slack now serves as the conversational interface for Salesforce's Agentforce. Slack's last standalone revenue was $902.6M (fiscal year ended Jan 2021). Salesforce no longer breaks it out, but Benioff said in 2026 that Slack revenue would reach about $3B. The rebuilt Slackbot became generally available in January 2026.
