Pilgrim
Pilgrim (Pilgrim Labs) develops, validates and deploys biotechnology for military personnel. Its products include an airborne pathogen sensor and battlefield trauma care such as hemorrhage control. Its customers are military organizations and defense contractors (B2G). It was founded in 2023 by CEO Jake Adler, a Thiel Fellow. It raised a $4.3M seed round led by Cantos Ventures in August 2025. In September 2026 the Wall Street Journal reported a $25M seed round at a $150M valuation, led by Buckley Ventures. Despite the 'AI company' label, public sources describe it as defense biotech, not an AI product company.
