Payroc
Payroc is a merchant acquirer and payment facilitator. It offers in-store, online and mobile payment processing, gateways and point-of-sale tools to merchants, ISVs, ISOs and non-profits across the US, Canada, the UK and the EU. It earns money from processing and merchant-services fees. It began as Retriever of Chicago in 2003 and later rebranded. After acquiring i3 Verticals' merchant services business, it reported $115B+ in annual processing, about 1,000 employees and 190K merchants. In 2025 it acquired BlueSnap and Agilisa Technologies. It is private equity-backed by Parthenon Capital.
