MobileIron
MobileIron was a software company that built mobile device management (MDM), unified endpoint management and zero-trust security software for smartphones, tablets and other endpoints. It sold to enterprises on a software licensing and subscription model. The company went public on Nasdaq (MOBL) in 2014 and reported about $205M in revenue in 2019. Tracxn lists about $157M raised across 8 funding rounds. Ivanti, backed by Clearlake Capital and TA Associates, announced the acquisition in September 2020 and closed it around December 2020. It is not primarily an AI company.
