Mitti Labs combines AI, satellite data and on-the-ground operations to cut methane emissions from rice farming. Its approach covers project design, farmer training, proprietary dMRV (digital monitoring, reporting and verification) and certification, which together generate rice-based carbon credits. Customers and partners include corporates, agribusinesses and NGOs, such as Syngenta and Ebro Foods. It is backed by investors including Lightspeed, Voyager Ventures, Cisco and Volta Circle, and it began pilots in five Indian states. Headcount estimates range from about 44 to 55 (PitchBook, Latka). Revenue estimates vary widely ($8.4M in 2025 per Latka, $23.1M in 2026 per RocketReach) and are unverified.
