LoyaltyOne
LoyaltyOne designs and runs coalition loyalty programs, customer analytics and loyalty services for enterprise clients in retail, grocery, financial services, petroleum and travel. It operated the AIR MILES Reward Program, which had nearly 11 million active collector accounts by 2018. It was formed in 1992 as the AIR MILES program, bought by Alliance Data in 1998 and renamed LoyaltyOne in 2008. It was spun off as Loyalty Ventures in 2021, filed for bankruptcy protection in March 2023, and BMO acquired the AIR MILES business in 2023. Employee counts range from about 490 in 2026 listings to 1,400 in 2021.
