Hangar Technology
Hangar Technology built a robotics-as-a-service platform. It combined an autonomous flight engine for off-the-shelf drones with a network of licensed pilots, and it processed the captured data into analytics for enterprise clients such as construction and cell-tower operators. It raised a $6.5M seed round in October 2016, led by Lux Capital. AirMap acquired it in September 2019, and it remained a subsidiary based in Austin, Texas. Crunchbase lists it as closed, and it appears no longer to operate independently.
