Alma
Alma runs a membership-based network that helps independent therapists accept insurance, with tools for credentialing, billing, scheduling and an EHR that added generative-AI progress notes in 2024; patients use its free directory to find in-network providers. Providers pay a flat monthly membership fee plus a share of insurance reimbursements, and Alma has partnerships with Optum, Cigna and Aetna. Founded in 2017, it raised about $220M, including a $130M Series D led by Thoma Bravo in August 2022, and was acquired by Spring Health in January 2026.
