Aether
Aether Biomachines develops a Protein Function Model trained on a proprietary high-throughput screening dataset. It uses the model to design proteins for metals refining, pollutant breakdown, advanced materials, plastics recycling and carbon capture. Customers are industrial manufacturers and partners in sustainability, defense and aerospace. It earns revenue from partnerships and its first commercial materials products, such as the RapidPrint 3D-printing filament launched in late 2025. It raised a $49M Series A in 2023 and another $15M led by Tribe Capital in December 2025, bringing total funding to about $64M.
