Additive Manufacturing Technologies (AMT)
AMT designs and builds PostPro automated post-processing hardware for industrial 3D printing, based on vapor-smoothing technology licensed from University of Sheffield research. Its customers include large 3D printing contract manufacturers such as HP, 3D Systems, Protolabs, Xometry and Materialise, and the company says its systems are installed in 40 countries (900+ units). Founded in Sheffield in 2017 by CEO Joseph Crabtree, it raised an £11.0m Series B in October 2021 from investors including Mercia, DSM Venturing and Foresight.
