TIER IV
TIER IV develops open-source autonomous driving software, led by its Autoware project, and offers commercial platforms and vehicle solutions for self-driving mobility. Its customers include automakers, transport operators and municipalities, and it also sells vehicle development and deployment support on a project basis. It was founded in December 2015 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market (ticker 593A) in July 2026. Its funding passed roughly ¥38.1 billion (US$243 million) by June 2024, and consolidated revenue was about ¥6.41 billion for the fiscal year ended September 2025.
