About Transfix

Transfix was founded in 2013 as a digital freight marketplace matching shippers with carriers. In June 2024 it sold its brokerage operation to NFI Industries and refocused the parent company on SaaS, with an AI TMS, rate recommendation, RFP analysis and exception-management tools. Customers are freight brokers, 3PLs and shippers, and revenue comes from software sales. The brokerage had about $400M in gross revenue in 2024. Transfix raised a $40M Series F in October 2023, and sources put total funding at roughly $125M–$168M.
