About SUSE

SUSE sells subscription-based enterprise Linux, Kubernetes management (Rancher), container security (NeuVector), edge and AI-ready infrastructure software. It says more than 60% of the Fortune 500 use its products, and named customers include Walmart, Deutsche Bank and Intel. EQT took it private in 2023 at a valuation of about €2.72B. In March 2026 Reuters reported revenue of about $800M and EBITDA above $250M, and said EQT was exploring a sale at up to $6B.
