ShiftKey runs a PRN marketplace where facilities post open shifts and independent licensed healthcare professionals browse, bid on and work them. The platform also handles credential monitoring and scheduling, which lets facilities avoid traditional staffing agencies. In January 2023 it raised $300M at a valuation above $2B, led by majority investor Lorient Capital with Clearlake Capital and Health Velocity Capital participating. It reportedly worked with more than 10,000 healthcare organizations at that time. In October 2024 it appointed a VP of AI.
