Sequel Med Tech
Sequel Med Tech makes the twiist automated insulin delivery (AID) system, a wearable insulin pump with integrated CGM compatibility, for people with type 1 diabetes in the US.
Sequel Med Tech is a Manchester, NH medical device company that makes the FDA-cleared twiist AID system, built with DEKA and powered by the Tidepool Loop algorithm. The system uses iiSure sound-wave technology to measure each insulin microdose, and it works with Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus and Senseonics Eversense 365 sensors. Sequel sells through pharmacy channels with a subscription-style model (the 2025 launch offered $0 the first month and no more than $50 a month after, for commercially insured users). It also sells to employers through its SequelConnect program. Nationwide launch was announced in March 2026, and a 13-week study (307 adults) in insulin-treated type 2 diabetes was presented at ADA 2026. Headcount was about 457 in March 2026 (Revelio Labs); other sources give roughly 408 to 425.
