Berlin-based e-commerce brand builder that acquires and scales Amazon-native private-label consumer brands and sells them across marketplaces and retail.
SellerX was founded in Berlin in 2020 as an Amazon aggregator. It buys third-party Amazon sellers' brands and scales them into omnichannel consumer brands, with a presence in Europe, Asia and North America. It raised nearly $900M in debt and equity from investors including L Catterton, Cherry Ventures, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and BlackRock. It acquired KW-Commerce in 2021 and Elevate Brands in 2023, and the combined group reported over €400M in sales in 2023. In 2024 its debt investors put it up for a creditor auction, which was called off at the last moment. It is not a pure AI company, although it uses data and AI tooling internally.
