About ROVOP

ROVOP is an Aberdeen-based provider of work-class and light work-class ROV systems and crews. It serves offshore energy, renewables, subsea cable and utilities customers, and sells ROV services on a contract basis, often to vessel owners and operators. It reported £53m revenue in 2023 and a £13.3m pre-tax profit for the nine months to December 2024. Headcount grew from 272 to 311 over that period. Bluewater (private equity) backed it, and it took a $25m credit facility from Cordiant Capital. Edison Chouest Offshore (Chouest) acquired it in 2024.
