Qingting FM
Qingting FM ( FM) runs a Chinese online audio platform with radio, audiobooks and podcasts, selling subscriptions and content to consumers and in-car/smart-device users.
Qingting FM is a Shanghai-based audio streaming platform, launched in September 2011. It aggregates about 1,500 radio stations and more than 350,000 certified hosts, with content covering audiobooks, news, finance, education and music. It reports a total user base above 450 million and about 100 million monthly active users in its wider ecosystem. Its business is content and subscription audio, plus partnerships such as in-car and smart-device distribution. Funding has been raised across several rounds, including a roughly RMB 1B Series E in 2017 led by Baidu and Weiying Capital. A 2021 round was led by China Literature (Chinese Online), with Xiaomi, Ruiyi and PV Capital also taking part. PitchBook lists about $164M raised in total. AI is used mainly for recommendations, and the company is hiring for AI/algorithm roles in 2026.
