Placer.ai's SaaS platform turns anonymized mobile-device location data into insights on visits, trade areas, audience demographics and competitor performance for any physical property. Customers include retailers, commercial real-estate owners, CPG brands, hedge funds and public-sector bodies. It earns revenue from subscriptions to the platform and data products, including a data-entitlements offering with Bloomberg announced in July 2026. It has raised about $268M in total (reported by Tracxn, Crustdata and LeadIQ). A $75M round in 2024 valued it at about $1.5B. Third-party estimates put 2024 ARR near $100M and headcount at about 630 in August 2026, down from a peak of about 854 in 2024.
