About Noname Security
Noname Security built an agentless API security platform for API discovery and inventory, posture and OWASP API Top 10 testing, and runtime protection. It served enterprise security teams and sold commercial software, integrating with SIEM, ticketing, CI/CD, WAF and RASP tools. It raised about $220M across Series A (2020), Series B (2021) and a $135M Series C (2021) at a reported $1B valuation. Akamai announced the acquisition in May 2024 for about $450M and closed it in June 2024, after which more than 200 employees joined Akamai.
