Gravity Payments

Gravity Payments is a privately held fintech and payments company. It sells card processing, POS, e-commerce, mobile and virtual terminal tools, and integrated payments to independent small and mid-sized businesses in nearly all 50 states. It earns money mainly from merchant processing fees. Founded in 2004 by Dan Price, it drew wide attention in 2015 when it set a $70,000 minimum salary, and by 2022 the minimum was $80,000. Estimates put it at about 230 employees in 2026 and about $102.6M in revenue. It is not primarily an AI company. Its Confido Legal spin-out raised funding in early 2026.
