EBSCO
EBSCO Information Services sells research databases, e-journals, e-books, discovery software and clinical decision tools to libraries, universities, hospitals, companies and governments.
EBSCO Information Services is a division of the privately held EBSCO Industries. Its products include EBSCOhost, EBSCO Discovery Service, EBSCO eBooks, DynaMed, GOBI and the FOLIO library platform. Customers are academic institutions, K-12 schools, public libraries, hospitals, corporations and government agencies worldwide. It earns money mainly from institutional subscriptions and licensing, and it now describes itself as an AI-enabled service provider. It has about 2,600 employees (August 2026) across six continents. Revenue figures for the division are not reliably public. Third-party estimates range widely, and some of them appear to cover the whole EBSCO Industries group.
