About
During my Ph.D. study, I developed multi-scale experimental methods to study the long-term hydro-mechanical behavior of porous materials. The technique consists of using environmental scanning electronic microscope (ESEM) or climatic chamber (CC) assisted by digital image correlation(DIC). Besides the mechanical testing, I also did physics-based modeling and simulations to predict the long-term time-dependent properties of cement-based materials.
I am currently a PostDoctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg, and I work on the multi-scale modeling of heterogeneous materials using the phase-field method to predict the influence of the microstructure on mechanical behavior.
I have a keen interest in sustainability. I am very interested in working as a research scientist on novel techniques of data acquisition such as microscopy imaging and tomography imaging and applying machine learning to these generated data to predict the properties of materials to develop and promote sustainable materials. I want to put my expertise to work to advance the agenda of your projects.
I will be happy to collaborate with you in the future. I am open to sharing more details on my work and curious to gain more insights into your ongoing projects from your perspective.
