What it does

This skill handles all spreadsheet file operations: opening existing .xlsx/.csv files to read or modify them, creating new spreadsheets from scratch or raw data, and cleaning messy tabular data into proper formats. Reach for it whenever a spreadsheet file is the primary input or output of your task. It combines openpyxl for formula and formatting control with pandas for bulk data operations.

  • Open, edit, and save spreadsheets with formulas, cell formatting, and charts using openpyxl
  • Bulk read/write tabular data and convert between .xlsx, .xlsm, .csv, and .tsv formats
  • Clean malformed rows, fix headers, and restructure messy data into proper spreadsheet format
