Check Point Software Technologies acquires Deepchecks for $10M-$20M
The agreement covers the team and intellectual property of Deepchecks, not a full company purchase. It was announced alongside Check Point's new Agentic Network Security Orchestration platform. Deepchecks was founded in 2019 by CEO Philip Tannor and CTO Shir Chorev. According to PitchBook, it raised $14 million from investors including Alpha Wave Ventures, Hetz Ventures and Grove Ventures. Check Point CTO Jonathan Zanger told ISMG the company employs about 15 people, and the team will help build testing and monitoring for autonomous security agents. Deepchecks' product covers evaluation, observability and monitoring for LLM applications. Check Point has been buying Israeli startups at a steady pace. CTech counts this as the fourth in 2026, after Cyclops Security, Cyata and the acqui-hire of Rotate. The price range is an industry estimate, and financial terms were not disclosed. For AI founders, the deal shows incumbents paying for evaluation and trust tooling as agents move into production. A price near the capital raised suggests an outcome driven by talent and IP, and likely not a large return for investors. Standalone evaluation vendors may find their strongest buyers among security and infrastructure platforms that need a validation layer for their own agents.
