Mobileye buys humanoid startup Mentee Robotics for $900M in its physical-AI push

Mobileye announced at CES on January 6 that it is acquiring Mentee Robotics, the humanoid company co-founded in 2022 by Mobileye's own chairman Amnon Shashua, for $900M: about $612M in cash plus up to 26.2M Mobileye shares. Mentee is pre-commercial, so the price is a bet on the team and the Physical AI stack rather than revenue.
