You.com started in 2020 as a consumer AI search engine. It has since moved to enterprise, selling web and news search APIs, a Smart API, and custom AI agents. Its API customers include DuckDuckGo, Windsurf and Harvey, and it said in 2025 that it processed over 1 billion queries a month. Enterprise pricing is consumption-based. In September 2025 it raised a $100M Series C at a $1.5B valuation, led by Cox Enterprises. It had raised a $50M Series B in 2024.
