WEKA, founded in 2013, sells cloud-native, hardware-agnostic data platform software (now branded NeuralMesh) for AI, machine learning, HPC and analytics workloads. It sells to enterprises, AI cloud providers and research organizations through software licensing. In May 2024 it raised a $140M Series E at a $1.6B valuation, and Crunchbase-type sources put total funding at roughly $372–415M. CB Insights reports 250+ customers, including 11 of the Fortune 50, and 170+ patents. Headcount estimates are about 500 (PitchBook: 496).
