Vertafore
Vertafore builds SaaS and software for the insurance distribution channel. Products include the AgencyOne agency management platform, Sircon compensation and compliance tools, rating and connectivity tools, and the Velocity AI Platform. Its customers are independent agencies, managing general agents (MGAs) and carriers in the US and Canada. It has operated as a Roper Technologies subsidiary since September 2020, when Roper bought it for about $5.35B enterprise value, after Bain Capital and Vista Equity bought it in 2016 for $2.7B. The company employs roughly 3,000 people (2026). Its headquarters is in Denver, Colorado, not Washington; the Washington link is probably its former Bothell office.
