TypeSafe AI
TypeSafe AI builds "System One" models meant to run inside software instead of talking with people. Its first model, Jev, entered limited early access for select developers on September 15, 2026. The company says Jev runs in under 100 ms and returns calibrated confidence scores, so software can decide when to act on its own. Founded in 2024 by ex-OpenAI researcher Diogo Almeida with Erik Gafni and Sasha Sheng, it came out of stealth in September 2026 with a $40M seed round led by DCVC. Pricing and revenue have not been disclosed.
