Trew makes and integrates automated material handling systems and the software that runs them. Products include Warehouse Execution and Control Systems (WES/WCS), PLC-based machine controls, motorized-roller conveyors, sortation and AS/RS. It sells to end users and integrator partners in retail, e-commerce, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing and parcel, and also provides engineering, installation, field service, parts and training. Founded in 2019, it took growth investment from American Industrial Partners and Redwood Technology Ventures in 2023. In 2025 it leased a further 330,000 sq ft in Southwest Ohio, bringing its regional footprint to nearly 595,000 sq ft. Headcount estimates run from about 460 to 530.
