Swing Education
Swing Education runs a two-sided marketplace. It recruits, screens and pays substitute teachers, and it gives K-12 schools software to post absences and fill them quickly. Schools pay a service fee per substitute day used. It reports more than 2,800 school partners and over one million instructional hours filled in the 2022-23 school year. Funding includes a $15M Series B (2018), a $38M Series C (2023) and a $20M Runway Growth debt commitment (2025). Apax Partners invested in 2023.
