Staffbase sells a SaaS platform that unifies Communications, HR and IT through an intranet, branded employee apps, email, SMS, digital signage and Microsoft 365 integration. It reports about 1,500 customers and 14 million users in 190 countries, across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, retail and automotive. It was founded in Chemnitz in 2014 and became a unicorn in 2022 with a $115M Series E at a $1.1B valuation led by General Atlantic, after a $145M Series D in 2021. Disclosed equity funding totals roughly $300M, and it added a €50M credit facility in 2024. Third-party estimates put 2024 ARR at about $193M, but that figure is unverified.
