SkyX runs a decentralized weather network, described as 'the Starlink for weather'. Contributors buy portable weather stations, supply hyperlocal meteorological data and earn crypto rewards. It layers AI software on that data, including the SkyXGPT conversational bot. It targets agriculture, energy, disaster preparedness and smart cities. The company announced a roughly $1M pre-seed round in November 2024, led by EV3, EOT Ventures and Waterdrip Capital, with peaq among the backers. It builds on the peaq blockchain, and PitchBook lists a further ~$3M early-stage round as in progress.
