Plaid Inc
Plaid runs a data network that lets consumers connect their bank accounts to apps such as Venmo, Robinhood and SoFi. Its products cover account linking, payments, identity verification, income and credit data, and fraud prevention. It sells to fintechs, banks and developers, mainly through usage-based API pricing. It raised $575M in April 2025 at a $6.1B valuation, and a February 2026 employee share sale valued it at $8B. Sacra estimates 2025 ARR at about $546M, up about 40% year over year. Bloomberg reported in July 2026 that Plaid was in early talks with banks about a US IPO, but no S-1 has been filed.
