OmniumAI
OmniumAI is a University of Minho spin-off founded in 2021 from the Centre of Biological Engineering. It sells AI and data science consulting, software development and tailored training to biotech, food and life-science customers. Its products are CibusAI (AI-driven food reformulation), OmniA (automated machine learning for bioinformatics and cheminformatics) and OmniNGS (food traceability by next-generation sequencing). Its website lists Chr. Hansen and Jerónimo Martins as clients. PitchBook lists a venture round in 2024, grants in 2025 and 2026 including about $1.55M in January 2026, and investors including Portugal Ventures. In 2025 ANI granted it an R&D SEAL.
